The South Main area is bordered by three controlled-access highways and two primary arteries leading to Interstate 610 on the fourth side. In addition, METRORail runs through the middle of the area with its terminus at downtown and I-610 South. Few places in Houston have as many access options enjoyed by those that live, work, play and visit the South Main area.
There are many routes in and out of the area and many places to park. Everyone has their favorites but we encourage you to discover other routes to keep you moving when your favorite route is blocked by an accident, emergency vehicles or construction. Scan our Destinations page to plan a route that takes you directly to your destination. Parking is plentiful in the many lots and parking garages. All major destinations have off-street parking.
