Access Routes From The South

Using Main Street

There is a Main St. exit from I-610. Main St. is good access into the Texas Medical Center, the parks and the Museum District.

Using Kirby Drive

There is a Kirby Drive exit from I-610. Kirby Dr. is good access to Reliant Park and to Braeswood Blvd. and Main St.

Using Fannin Street

There is a Fannin St. exit from I-610. You will share the road with METRORail so watch for the signs and cross arms. Fannin St. provides good access to the east side of Reliant Park and the south side of the Texas Medical Center area.

Using Almeda Rd.

Take the Almeda Rd. exit from I-610. Almeda Rd. will take you along the eastern edge of the South Main area. Turn left on Old Spanish Trail to reach the north side of Reliant Park. Turn left on Holcombe Blvd. to reach the south end of the Texas Medical Center’s main campus. Turn left on Braeswood Blvd. to (1) enter the central part of the Texas Medical Center or (2) follow the signs to South MacGregor Way to reach the north edge of the Texas Medical Center area and the south edge of Hermann Park. Turn left on Binz St. to reach the Museum District.
