RIDE THE RAIL

METRO operates Houston’s light rail system that provides safe and convenient travel to some of Houston’s most popular destinations including the Museum District, Hermann Park, Rice University, Reliant Park and the Texas Medical Center. Light Rail fares are similar to bus fares; $1 each way, transfer or passes accepted. Single fares and day passes can be purchased at each station’s Ticket Vending Machine. Cash, coins, debit and credit cards are accepted.

Take a bus to a light rail station, get on board METRORail and head to any one of five stations serving the South Main area:
